76人雖然在週日以4：0之姿橫掃籃網隊、晉級第二輪，球隊主將安比德（Joel Embiid）卻傳出因膝蓋傷勢，不確定是否能及時於第二輪回歸的壞消息。

安比德是在首輪第三戰第三節剩不到八分鐘時，防守強森（Cameron Johnson）的過程中發生碰撞並倒地。雖然他沒多久就自行起身試圖跑向前場，展現硬漢一面，卻明顯已無法正常行走，最後只能摸著右膝黯然退場，並接著缺席第四戰。

經過近日檢查後，安比德的傷勢確認為右膝外側副韌帶扭傷，但各家外媒對於他的歸期尚沒有統一說法，不過根據《CBS Sports》報導，部分球團人士對於安比德第二輪首戰能如期上陣仍十分樂觀。

不過即使能回到場上，安比德或許還是不能以最佳狀態迎接對手，《ESPN》記者薛爾本（Ramona Shelburne）昨日就在節目上說：「如果安比德可以在第二輪上場的話，他可能會在膝蓋穿上護具。」

不幸中的大幸是，76人在首輪四場便解決對手，再加上老鷹隊今日擊敗塞爾蒂克隊、將戰局帶入第66戰，讓76人與安比德在第二輪來臨前，還能多喘幾口氣。
